US official says he was 'speechless' when he saw orange object in the sky
At the end of last year, a United States intelligence officer went on a helicopter mission to investigate loud booms heard in the local mountains, which coincided with sightings of orange objects, recorded as Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).
The case is listed in new documents from the United States, released this Friday (22) and provide details about UFOs (Unidentified Flying Object). Among the newly released materials is a list of dozens of sightings of unidentified aerial phenomena between 1946 and 1950.
During the mission, and after being alerted by radars from the Joint Operations Center, the pilots observed a very hot object close to the ground that "split in two" while a smaller object emerged and accelerated until it disappeared from view.
As they hovered at about 700 feet in altitude, the crew witnessed "countless orange orbs flying in all directions against the backdrop of the mountain." Minutes later, two large oval orbs, orange with white or yellow centers, lit up side by side, very close to the helicopter's rotor, emitting light in all directions.
Within a matter of seconds, other orbs joined them, forming a "T" configuration, before gradually darkening and disappearing. Additionally, military fighters, which were carrying out a training mission at an altitude of 23,000 feet, entered visual range.
According to information released by the Pentagon, this Friday (22), after the meetings, the officer and pilots were "speechless" given the observations made.

The report also details that the orbs appeared to "chase" jet fighters that were on a training mission in the same area, maintaining the aircraft's speed and flight path before disappearing.
USA releases new files on UFOs
The Pentagon released this Friday (22) a second batch of declassified files related to UAP, as part of a broader initiative ordered earlier this year by President Donald Trump.
The new disclosure brings details about UFOs (Unidentified Flying Object)
The action complies with a directive published by Trump on his social network, Truth Social, in February 2026, demanding the release of government files on UFOs and extraterrestrial life.

The newly released batch also presents an extensive list of dozens of sightings of unidentified aerial phenomena between 1946 and 1950. The documents compile reports from scientists, military pilots, FBI agents and security inspectors from installations such as Los Alamos and Sandia Base in New Mexico.
Many of these observations describe so-called "green fireballs" and "disc-shaped" objects, which flew in predominantly horizontal trajectories, emitting no sound and leaving no smoke trails.
Military intelligence at the time noted with great concern that the frequency of these anomalous encounters occurred mostly near sensitive government and military installations.
