USA makes another attack on vessel in the Pacific; two survive
The US Armed Forces said this Tuesday (16) that they sank a vessel in the Western Pacific -near the coast of South and Central America-, killing one person and leaving two survivors.
Similar attacks have occurred since the second half of last year in the Caribbean Sea and on the South American Pacific coast.
Washington justifies the actions as combating alleged "narco-terrorists". Human rights groups, on the other hand, classify them as extrajudicial executions.
The US Southern Command reported that one man died in the attack, while two men survived.
