US carries out new attacks in Strait of Hormuz region, official says

The US is carrying out more attacks against Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz, CENTCOM (United States Central Command) reported this Saturday (27).

In a publication on the social network

The U.S. military reported that military aircraft targeted Iranian military surveillance infrastructure, communications systems, air defense sites, drone storage facilities and mine-laying capabilities.

The transit of commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz should continue normally, the note added.

The action comes after the US carried out strikes in the Strait of Hormuz region on Friday (26), targeting Iranian missile and drone storage sites, as well as coastal radar installations.
