USA attacks vessel in the Pacific Ocean and kills 3 people
The United States of America (USA) confirmed a new attack on a vessel transiting the Pacific Ocean this Saturday (30). According to the American Army's Southern Command, three men died in the attack. See the action in the video above.
The US Southern Command (Southcom), responsible for American military operations in Latin America, stated on social media that it "confirmed that the vessel was transiting known drug trafficking routes and was involved in drug trafficking operations."
No American military forces were injured.
The American government claims to be at war against what it calls "narco-terrorists" in the region. To date, however, it has not presented public evidence linking the attacked vessels to drug trafficking.
The attacks have been occurring since the beginning of September and have killed at least 202 people, according to information from the Associated Press (AP). The military did not present evidence that any of the vessels were transporting drugs.
