US and Iran reach agreement, but final approval from Trump is lacking, says website

US and Iranian negotiators have reached agreement on a memorandum to extend the ceasefire for 60 days and begin negotiations on Iran's nuclear program, but President Donald Trump has yet to give final approval, the website reported. Axios this Thursday (28), citing two American officials.
According to the report, the signing of the document would be the most significant diplomatic advance since the start of the war. However, this is not yet a final agreement, which will require even more intense negotiations to meet Trump's demands on uranium enrichment.
Axios also highlights that the terms were practically agreed on Tuesday (27), but both sides still needed to obtain approval from their leaders.
According to sources heard by the website, the Iranians stated that they were prepared to sign. On the American side, however, Trump did not give immediate approval and told the mediators that he wanted a few days to think about it.
