Unicamp extends deadline to request fee exemption

Unicamp (State University of Campinas) has extended the deadline for requesting an exemption from the 2027 entrance exam fee.

Orders must be made on the Comvest page by June 19th. The first phase will be on October 18, 2026, and the second phase, on November 29 and 30.

The prerequisite for receiving the exemption, in all modalities, is to have already completed or to complete high school in 2026.

There are 6,748 exemptions in modality 1, an unlimited number of exemptions in modalities 2 and 3, and 150 exemptions in modality 4.

The modalities are:

- 1 - It is for candidates from Brazilian public schools and who are from low-income families (up to one and a half gross monthly minimum wage per household resident);
- 2 - Unicamp/Funcamp employees;
- 3 - for those who apply for the following evening Bachelor's or Technology courses (Degrees: Biological Sciences, Physics, Literature, Integrated Degree Chemistry/Physics, Mathematics and Pedagogy. Technology in Systems Analysis and Development);
- 4 - for scholarship candidates (partial or full scholarship) from private/private schools.

The list of accepted requests will be published on July 31st. Even with contemplation, students must register for the entrance exam, which takes place from August 3rd to 31st.

Candidates who had their request denied can submit an appeal from 9 am on July 31st until 5 pm on August 3rd. The result of the appeal will be announced on August 7th.
