Unicamp: Deadline for exemption from entrance exam fees ends this Friday (26)

Unicamp (State University of Campinas) has extended for the second time the deadline for requesting the exemption fee for the 2027 entrance exam. Candidates must make the request online by this Friday (26), on the Comvest page (Permanent Commission for Entrance Exams). The benefit will include the traditional entrance exam and the modality that uses the Enem score.

Scheduled to end, initially, at the end of June, the deadline had already been extended for the first time and received a new request to include students from all types of entry to the university. Candidates from all over the country who have already completed high school or who will complete high school in 2026 can request fee exemption.

There are four types of exemption, which operate according to different criteria. Check out the fee exemption options:

- Modality 1: aimed at public school students with a family income of up to 1.5 minimum wages per capita. It is the main category and has 6,748 available exemptions.
- Modality 2: serves employees of Unicamp and Funcamp, with no limit on concessions.
- Modality 3: aimed at candidates who opt for evening undergraduate or technology courses, such as biological sciences, physics, literature, mathematics, pedagogy and systems analysis and development. There is also no limit on places.
- Modality 4: includes students from private schools with full or partial scholarships and students from System S, such as Senai and Sesi. 150 exemptions are offered.

To make the request, the candidate must send documents proving the criteria required in each of the modalities. Files must be sent in digital format and attached to the request made through the Comvest website.

The list of successful candidates will be published on July 31st. Appeals can be presented by students who have had their request denied until August 3rd. The final result will be announced on August 7th. Fee exemption does not guarantee automatic enrollment in the entrance exam; the candidate must apply later, during the appropriate period.
