Under-17 standout, midfielder celebrates good moment at Corinthians

Midfielder Gustavo Sales has been gaining more and more space in Corinthians' U17 team. At 17 years old, the player has been frequently used in the category's main competitions and participated in important matches in the black and white campaign this season.

For the Campeonato Paulista U17, the midfielder left his mark in the 4-2 victory over Juventus. In the Brazilian Championship, he was on the field in the classic in which Timão defeated Palmeiras 3-1, at Fazendinha.

Experiencing a positive sequence, Gustavo celebrated the moment he is going through with the Corinthians shirt. The player highlighted his happiness in representing the club and reinforced his commitment to continue evolving to help the team.

"I feel like I'm living a great moment. It makes me very happy and motivated to be performing so well at a club as great as Corinthians. I continue working daily to help my teammates and honor the shirt of this club, which I consider my home," said Gustavo.

The young man had already attracted attention last season, when he played for the Under-16s. In 2025, he gained opportunities in the Under-17s during the period in which part of the category's main squad competed in the Andalusia Tournament, in Spain.

With Gustavo Sales available, Corinthians returns to action this Thursday. The team faces Vasco da Gama, at 11am, at the Nivaldo Pereira Stadium, in a match valid for the eighth round of the Brazilian Under-17 Championship.
