Uber expands travel category with female drivers throughout Brazil; see how to use

Uber announced this Tuesday (30) that it has expanded the Uber Mulher functionality throughout Brazil, which allows passengers to request trips only with female drivers.
The feature was already available in some capitals and is now available in all cities across the country. It can be used in three ways.

One of them is the Uber Woman option, which will be displayed with the other travel categories such as UberX and Comfort.
For immediate rides, the option will only be available during the day. And, if the waiting time is too long, Uber will ask if the passenger wants to continue waiting or direct the request to a male driver.

Passengers will also be able to search for female drivers through Uber Reserve, where it is possible to schedule trips at least 30 minutes in advance.
Finally, users will have the option of activating the preference for female drivers in their rides by default. To do this, you need to click on "Account", select "Settings", tap on "Women's preferences" and activate the option "Find trips when available".
With the preference activated, the application will prioritize the search for female drivers when requesting trips on UberX, although it does not guarantee that the routes will always be taken by women.
Uber stated that the expansion of the feature is part of a commitment to offer more comfort and safety for women and non-binary people. Preference for female drivers will also be available in the "Uber contains teens" modality, aimed at teenagers aged 12 to 17.
