Two people climb to the top of the Empire State Building carrying a banner

Two people climbed to the top of the Empire State Building, in New York, this Wednesday (1st) and displayed a banner that promoted peace and "the power of love".

The individuals were dressed in black and wore masks. The track had the phrase: "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace", according to videos and images from the location.

It was unclear how the pair managed to reach the top of the building, which is around 443 meters high.

Dozens of police officers were mobilized to the Empire State. The operation involves the participation of teams from the Emergency Services Unit.
