Twisted hardware makes access difficult for victims in accident in MG
The heavily twisted hardware after the collision between a bus and a trailer has made it difficult for teams to access the victims and made forensic work in the accident recorded this Sunday morning (24), on BR-251, in Santa Cruz de Salinas, in the North of Minas Gerais, more complex.
According to the Minas Gerais Military Fire Department (CBMMG), the impact between the vehicles was intense and caused major deformation in the structures. After the crash, there was a fire and part of the cargo carried by the truck was scattered across the highway.

Also according to firefighters, preliminary assessments carried out during the extrication work indicate the possibility of children among the dead, but official confirmation on the age, sex and identity of the victims will be made by the Civil Police after the investigation is completed.
To date, eight deaths remain confirmed, all among bus occupants. The number of injuries rose to ten, totaling 18 victims in the accident: 17 occupants of the bus and one person in the trailer.
