In addition to the attractions in the central region of São Paulo, the South Zone also brings together a series of musical performances in the 21st edition of Virada Cultural, which takes place this Saturday (23) and Sunday (24).

Under the theme "The Festival of Festivals", the region will host more than 170 free activities distributed across large decentralized stages, Sesc units and museums.

Pagode, country music and rap
Among the highlights of the musical program are shows by Péricles, Gustavo Mioto, the twins Tasha & Tracie and historic rap performances.

The Municipal Department of Culture's strategy for this year reinforces the decentralization of the event, taking big names from the national scene to big stages on the outskirts of the city.

In addition to the street stages organized by the Municipal Department of Culture, the cultural program in the South Zone will be marked by attractions in cultural facilities in the region.

Sesc Vila Mariana will have performances by samba artist Leci Brandão on Saturday and Sunday, while Sesc Santo Amaro will feature the dance show "The Jackson's Funk".

As for cultural spaces, the Afro Brasil Museum, located in Ibirapuera Park, will open its doors with completely free access and special mediated visits throughout the weekend.

- M'Boi Mirim Stage (Av. Luiz Gushiken): the space has established itself as one of the main points for mixing rhythms in the region. On Saturday night, the focus turns to the roots of national rap with the meeting of Dexter and Edi Rock, followed by the country music of Israel & Rodolffo. Sunday maintains musical diversity, hosting trap music from singer Duquesa and closing the program with Gustavo Mioto's show.

- Campo Limpo Stage (Praça João Tadeu Priolli): known for the strong support of the local public, the stage opens the weekend with the dancing rhythm of Beto Barbosa and the performance of Kyan. On Sunday afternoon, the program focuses on traditional country music with the performance of the duo Guilherme & Santiago.

- Palco Grajaú (Rua Inácio Dias): the cultural stronghold in the extreme south highlights community manifestations and the strength of the urban genre. Saturday's itinerary features the traditional 27th Pagoda, while Sunday's highlight is the flow and aesthetics of twin sisters Tasha & Tracie.

- Stage 7 Campos - Cidade Ademar (Rua Maratona): the arena set up in Cidade Ademar has a schedule aimed at the general public. Saturday night is led by Michele Andrade's forró. Sunday begins with country pop by Bruninho & Davi and officially closes the region's circuit with a show by samba singer Péricles.
