"If they survived this capacity of all this power from the largest military power on the planet and the largest regional military power, there is no way for Iran to suffer pressure other than that", he analyzed.
The professor also assessed that Trump's resistance to intensifying the military campaign ended up encouraging Iran, which "played very hard and knew how to play very well". Despite being a weakened regime - which faced a damaging war in June last year, dramatic protests and an economy in a delicate situation - Iran has now achieved, according to Moita, "perhaps the most precious of all victories, which is victory in the political-ideological field".
This achievement, concluded the professor, could give the regime survival if it translates into the resources and wealth promised by the Trump administration.
