Trump says the US is 'hope and light' in the world and says 'we don't want communists in our country'

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, praised this Sunday (5) the USA and the American people, stating that they are "light, hope and freedom" in the world, and said that "we do not want communists in our country."

"For 250 years, the United States of America has been the hope, the promise, the light and the glory among all the nations of the world. Everyone in the world tries to be like us, but no one can, and with God's help, we will always be like that - or even better. and that everyone else tries to be like the Americans, but they can't. This is because the country was responsible for successfully fighting communism over the years.
"We don't want communists in our country, and the USA will never be a communist country. Communism is a loser and always will be. Our warriors have not defeated it several times in various parts of the world just for it to try to get its head back here. It's like cancer, you need to remove it quickly", he said.
Trump's speech took place on the National Mall, a landmark in the US capital, to close the 4th holiday July and celebrate 250 years of US Independence. The event began at the scheduled time despite storm warnings in Washington D.C. causing the public to evacuate at one point during the event.
An extreme heat wave and storms disrupted July 4th celebrations in some North American cities. Even with the warnings, Trump said hours before that he would speak at the event "in any case".
