Trump says new US attacks on Iran are strong and powerful

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, said this Tuesday (9) that the response to the Iranian attack that, according to the American military, shot down a US helicopter must be "very strong, very powerful".

"I think it's very important to respond. They shot down a helicopter and we're responding as we speak," Trump told ABC's Jonathan Karl, who said he was on the phone with the president when U.S. Central Command announced the strikes.

"This is a response to what they did, what they did to our helicopter last night, and I believe the response should be very strong, very powerful, and that's what this one is," he highlighted.
