Trump says deal with Iran is not yet 'fully negotiated', after promising resolution by this Sunday

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated this Sunday (24) that the agreement to end the war with Iran has not yet been seen by anyone, nor is it "fully negotiated". He again defended that, if the text is signed, it will not allow Tehran to produce nuclear weapons.
"If I make a deal with Iran, it will be a good and appropriate one, unlike the one made by [Barack] Obama, who gave Iran large amounts of MONEY and a clear and open path to a nuclear weapon. Our deal is exactly the opposite, but no one has seen it or knows what it is. It is not even fully negotiated yet," he wrote in the social media post Truth Social.
On Saturday (23), Trump said he thought the agreement was close to being completed. Hours earlier, however, Trump also stated that he would "explode them into a thousand hells" if the two parties did not reach a consensus by this Sunday.
Today, on the other hand, Trump said that he instructed US representatives not to be in a rush to negotiate an agreement with Tehran and that time is in the US government's favor. "Negotiations are progressing in an orderly and constructive manner", he published.

Negotiations between Iran and the United States to end the war that the two countries have been waging since the end of February in the Middle East have been dragging on for weeks. A proposal made by Iran last week was rejected by Washington, which said it considered the terms insufficient.
One of the United States' main demands is that Iran definitively end without a nuclear program, which Tehran denies.
Just this Sunday, a report in the newspaper "The New York Times" revealed that the US and Iran agreed to allow the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz as long as the Iranians gave up their nuclear arsenal. The information comes from an American official close to the negotiations, according to the newspaper.
The United States has imposed a blockade on Iranian ports since April, after Tehran practically paralyzed traffic through the Strait of Hormuz in response to American and Israeli attacks against Iran, which began on February 28.
Hormuz is an important channel for global oil trade. Before the conflict, around 20% of world production passed through there. The temporary closure had an impact on commodity prices around the world.
In this Sunday's Truth Social post, Trump also mentions former president Barack Obama's agreement with Iran. The 2015 pact provided for limiting the Iranian nuclear program in exchange for the removal of international sanctions.
Critics of the pact, including Israel, claim that part of the resources released was used by the Iranian regime to finance armed groups in the Middle East.
