The President of the United States, Donald Trump, released his official agenda for the day this Tuesday morning (26), which does not include a meeting with senator and presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ). According to CNN, the senator left for Washington last Sunday (24), awaiting a meeting with Trump today.

One of the objectives of the meeting is to try to regain momentum in the presidential race after the crisis triggered by the revelation of contacts with businessman Daniel Vorcaro, former owner of the now liquidated Banco Master. However, Trump's schedule only includes a visit to Walter Reed Military Medical Center and private political meetings in the Oval Office.

According to CNN Brasil, allies close to Flávio said there was a possibility that his meeting at the White House would be with the Vice President of the United States, JD Vance, and not with President Trump.

The reason would be the difficulty of Trump's agenda, who on Monday ordered attacks on Iranian missile launch facilities and vessels in the Strait of Hormuz amid the ceasefire between the two countries and ongoing negotiations to end the war.

In the meeting with US government leaders, the allies' expectation is that Flávio will address topics of interest to the American president that could also generate electoral dividends for the PL pre-candidate for the Planalto Palace.

The main one is the fight against organized crime, with Brazilian factions being equated with terrorist organizations, as defended by the American government.
