Trump posts video of alleged explosion in Iran
United States President Donald Trump published a video on social media on Tuesday (7) showing explosions. Later, Trump republished a follower's comment stating that the explosion occurred in Iran.
The images show bombs falling on a city and smoke rising into the sky. On Tuesday (7), the US carried out a series of attacks against Iran after the regime was accused of targeting three commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
In retaliation, Iran launched missiles against American military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait. According to the country's Revolutionary Guard, 85 US military installations were hit in the two countries.

Both affected Arab countries are home to Washington's military bases: Bahrain is the headquarters of the US Navy's 5th Fleet, while Kuwait serves as headquarters for US Army forces in the region. The two governments issued missile warnings to the population early in the morning.
Explosion in Bandar Abbas, Iran, after US bombing
Iran's central military command confirmed the reaction and warned that it "will respond decisively to this aggression and terrorist act" by the United States. Until the last update of this report, Iranian state media had acknowledged explosions in the Bandar Abbas, Qeshm and Sirik regions, but did not release information on casualties or the extent of damage in Bahrain and Kuwait.
The new military escalation calls into question the provisional ceasefire agreement in the region, created after the war that began at the end of February. The attacks occur at a time when US President Donald Trump is scheduled in Turkey for the NATO summit.
