Trump, who added at least US$ 2.2 billion to his assets in 2025, denied a conflict of interest and the disclosure of privileged information to his administrators, and defended himself:
"Everyone is profiting because the stock market is on the rise."
The information about Trump's increase in wealth was publicly disclosed in this Tuesday (30) and analyzed by the American newspaper "The New York Times", which drew attention to the increase in Trump's income: in 2024, the earnings were US$622 million.
According to the NYT, one of the Republican's biggest acquisitions in 2025 occurred when an investment company linked to the United Arab Emirates bought almost half of the Trump family's main cryptocurrency company, World Liberty Financial, a transaction that blurred the line between foreign policy and initiative private.
Trump also raised millions of dollars by selling his fictional cryptocurrency $TRUMP and World Liberty digital tokens. He profited $1.4 billion from his family's cryptocurrency business alone.

The president's family business, the Trump Organization, has also capitalized on his popularity in certain parts of the world, licensing the Trump name for properties in countries crucial to U.S. foreign policy interests, including Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
These two businesses alone generated more than $14 million last year, according to the document.
The president's shares in his own publicly traded social media company, Trump Media & Technology Group, are worth about $875 million, according to other public documents, representing one of the largest single sources of his net worth, despite a big drop in value over the past year.
The White House did not respond to the American newspaper's request for comment. However, White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly said in a recent statement that Mr. Trump "acts only in the best interests of the American public" and that there are "no conflicts of interest."
