The President of the United States, Donald Trump, declared more than US$ 1.4 billion in income obtained from businesses linked to cryptocurrencies last year, according to his annual declaration of assets for 2025, released this Tuesday (30) by the American Office of Government Ethics.

The documents show that Trump reported having received more than US$500 million from World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency company founded by him and his children.
The president also declared another US$635 million from the sale of $TRUMP, a meme coin-type cryptocurrency, a category inspired by memes and internet phenomena.
In addition to digital assets, Trump declared more than US$80 million in income from agreements with media companies and reported having received millions of dollars for licensing his name for real estate projects abroad.
Crypto's gain weight in Trump's income
The information released offers a more detailed portrait of the company's participation. Trump family in the cryptocurrency market and the weight that these businesses have come to have on their assets.
According to a Reuters analysis, digital assets have come to represent the main source of income declared by the president and have benefited from policies adopted during his government.
Reuters had already estimated that the Trump family has obtained at least US$2.3 billion in profits from investors since he resumed the US Presidency.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the disclosure of the documents.
