US President Donald Trump added at least $2.2 billion to his net worth in 2025, the year of his return to the White House.
The information, released publicly this Tuesday (30), was analyzed by the American newspaper "The New York Times", which drew attention to the increase in Trump's income: in 2024, earnings were US$622 million.
According to the NYT, one of the Republican's biggest acquisitions in 2025 occurred when an investment company linked to the United Arab Emirates bought almost half of the Trump family's main cryptocurrency company, World Liberty Financial, a transaction that blurred the line between foreign policy and private enterprise.
Trump also raised millions of dollars from the sale of his fictional cryptocurrency $TRUMP and World Liberty digital tokens. The profit was $1.4 billion from his family's cryptocurrency business alone.
The president's family business, the Trump Organization, has also capitalized on his popularity in certain parts of the world, licensing the Trump name to properties in countries crucial to U.S. foreign policy interests, including Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
These two businesses alone generated more than $14 million last year, according to the document.
