Trump accuses Iran of violating ceasefire and says US shot down drones
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, accused Iran this Friday (26) of violating the ceasefire between the countries.
According to the republican, the country fired drones into the Strait of Hormuz, hitting at least one vessel. He further stated that the US shot down three drones.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran fired at least four one-way attack drones at ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz. One of the drones hit the upper deck of a large and very expensive cargo ship. There was damage, but the ship was able to continue its journey. We shot down another three drones. Obviously, this is a senseless violation of our ceasefire agreement," he commented on Truth Social.
