Trem da Alegria re-records hit "He-Man" after 40 years

The group Trem da Alegria re-recorded the song "He-Man" 40 years after the official release of the hit inspired by the superhero.

The news promoted the reunion of Patricia Marx, Luciano Nassyn and Juninho Bill, responsible for recording the song when they were still children.

The release of the re-recording occurred thanks to an advertising campaign by a restaurant, which launched a collection inspired by "Masters of the Universe", a film that narrates Prince Adam's journey in Grayskull.

"Just like the characters from Masters of the Universe, the song 'He-Man' is part of the emotional memory of millions of Brazilians. Bringing Patricia, Luciano and Juninho together again, after 39 years, made this campaign even more special", says Luciana Morais, Director of Marketing, Trade and Communication at Giraffas.

"We want to provide an experience that goes beyond the restaurant, connecting entertainment, emotion and memories for those who grew up with this universe and also for new generations", he continues.

"Masters of the Universe" narrates the adventure of Prince Adam, a child who is sent by his parents to Earth after his planet is dominated by Skeletor.

The young man spends his entire adolescence looking for the Sword of Power so he can return home, but until he achieves his goal he is forced to work in the HR department of a company.

When he finally finds the item, he is rescued by Teela and taken to his home planet to fight Skeletor.

The film, directed by Travis Knight, stars Nicholas Galitzine as the main character and Camila Mendes as Teela. Skeletor is played by Jared Leto and Idris Elba plays Mentor.
