A night that started with a lot of energy ended in profound tragedy. During Goose's second sold-out show at New York's iconic Madison Square Garden, a 51-year-old man fell from a high position and died. The incident shocked fans, the band and the entire music scene.

New York police were called around 9:51 p.m., finding the man unconscious and unresponsive. He was immediately taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The injuries were consistent with a fall from a significant height.

Goose, with Rick Mitarotonda, Trevor Weeks, Peter Anspach and Cotter Ellis on stage, played their full 16-song show, ending around midnight. The band only learned of the tragedy later, but issued an emotional note: "We are deeply saddened and heartbroken by the tragic event that occurred at today's show. We send our deepest condolences to everyone affected. Thank you to the emergency professionals and venue staff who acted with care and support."
