Toyota Corolla Cross 2027 arrives with changes and renewed GR Sport version
Toyota announces the 2027 Corolla Cross line in the Brazilian market with specific changes in equipment and an updated look in the sporty version. The consumer will notice a difference in the Toyota Corolla Cross GR Sport, which adopts the general lines of the other versions with a sporty appeal. The average SUV starts at R$194,790.
Among the new features common to all versions of the 2027 Corolla Cross is the redesigned central console, which now offers a more modern arrangement of controls and better integration with the vehicle's resources. Another update is the adoption of the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), responsible for monitoring tire pressure in real time and alerting the driver in case of irregularities.
In the GR Sport 2027 version, the car now has new front and rear bumpers, an exclusive front grille, alloy wheels with a new design and darkened finish, as well as specific details on the rear lid and lower body moldings. The interior also received changes, including new coverings for the sports seats, pedals with a different finish and an exclusive finish on the console.

The Toyota Play 2.0 multimedia center remains one of the main equipment in the line, with a 10.1-inch screen and integration with Toyota Connected Services. The system allows remote access to vehicle information, diagnostics, real-time monitoring and safety features through the Toyota App.
All versions maintain the Toyota Safety Sense package, which brings together features such as pre-collision assistant, adaptive cruise control, lane change alert and automatic high beams. The SUV also offers seven airbags and parking sensors with braking support.

In terms of engines, the line continues to offer two alternatives. The XRE, XRX and GR Sport versions use the 2.0 Dynamic Force flex engine, which delivers up to 175 hp of power and 21.3 kgfm of torque, associated with the CVT transmission with ten-speed simulation. The XRX Hybrid Premium configuration combines a 1.8 Atkinson cycle flex engine with two electric motors, forming the brand's flex full hybrid (HEV) package. Power is estimated at around 123 horsepower.
In the most expensive version, the car costs R$ 223,790, a very high price compared to the Chinese competition. On the same day that Toyota announced the 2027 Corolla Cross, Changan launched the CS75, a larger, more powerful and spacious medium SUV for R$199,000. Also this week the 2027 Haval H6 line arrived, with an equally competitive price.
