Tourist dies after being trampled by elephants in India
A 33-year-old woman was trampled to death during an elephant fight in India. The case took place in a park known as Dubare Elephant Camp, located in Kodagu district, Kamataka state.
Two elephants suddenly became violent and clashed in front of tourists visiting the site. Amid the turmoil and panic generated by the confusion, the victim, identified as Junesh, ended up being hit and died at the scene. She was accompanied by family and friends.
As part of the daily routine, elephant keepers led the animals to the river for a bath, while dozens of tourists watched the scene up close. Suddenly, an elephant named "Kanchan" attacked another elephant named "Martand".
The sudden confrontation between the two huge animals caused panic among the tourists present. Upon realizing that the elephants had become aggressive, the keepers tried to control them, while the visitors began running for their lives.
Amidst the chaos and rush, Junesh ended up at the center of the confusion between the two elephants. She suffered serious injuries after being trampled by the animals and died at the scene before any medical assistance could arrive.
