Tom Kane, voice actor in 'Star Wars' and 'The Powerpuff Girls', dies at age 64

Tom Kane, voice actor for Jedi Yoda and other characters in the series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars", died at age 64, this Monday (18), according to the website TMZ.
According to the publication, he was admitted to a hospital in Kansas, United States, and died surrounded by his family. Tom Kane died from complications resulting from a stroke, which he suffered in 2020.
Zach McGinnis, the artist's representative, told TMZ that "although his voice is now silenced, the characters, stories and love he gave the world will live forever."
"In addition to an incredible career, he was an extraordinary man. Tom was a dedicated husband and father who, alongside his wife, built a loving family of nine children - three biological and six fostered through of adoption and custody", added Zach.
Tom started working as a professional voice actor at the age of 15. In addition to his work in the "Star Wars" saga, Tom also voiced Professor Utônio, from "The Powerpuff Girls", as well as characters in video games, such as the "Call of Duty" franchise.
