Tom Holland confirms he married Zendaya: "My person"

The rumors are real! After media speculation, star Tom Holland, 30, confirmed, in an interview released this Tuesday (16), that he married his co-star Zendaya, 29. The two met on the set of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" in 2016 and announced their relationship publicly in 2021.

Rumors that Tom Holland and Zendaya had gotten married in secret gained strength in March this year, when the actress' stylist, Law Roach, mentioned at an awards event that the wedding had already taken place. This Tuesday, Peter Parker's interpreter spoke about the subject for the first time.

During the interview, the actor even mentioned the artificial intelligence photos that came out about the wedding earlier this year. When asked if he had to warn family members that the photos were fake, he replied: "No, because everyone was there."

"That's all you'll know about it," he said, without answering the next question about whether the wedding had actually taken place.

Holland also took the opportunity to talk about his partner, who stars in all four new "Spider-Man" films alongside him. He refers to him as "Zee", and extols the bond the two have built together.

"Our industry can present very stressful situations and it's really good to have a solid foundation of relationships that will stand the test of time," he commented. "We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we truly understand what it's like to live this life, and I think that's a luxury, because I just can't imagine how it would be possible to have something like that with someone else."

"For me, I found my person. She's my best friend and I'm the happiest person I've ever been when I'm with her, but I've also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period. Maybe when I was young, with my parents, and my dad picked me up from school. Not that our relationship is like my parents'," he added.
