Tom Hardy is cut from the series "Terra da Mafia" after disagreement with producers

Actor Tom Hardy, 48, is not expected to return for the third season of the series "Terra da Mafia". According to information released by Variety, the actor had left the production after problems behind the scenes. The tensions would have occurred, mainly, during the recording of the second season, which has not yet aired.

The actor played the protagonist Harry Da Souza, an intermediary responsible for protecting the interests of the powerful Harrigan family. The plot shows the conflict with another powerful and rival family in London, United Kingdom. The cast also includes names like Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren.

According to published information, the actor had problems behind the scenes with executive producer Jez Butterworth, 101 Studios and other people on the team. Butterworth reportedly threatened to abandon the team amid conflicts during recording.

The new season remains without a release date, especially after the repercussions of the case.
