To CNN, Murilo Huff talks about exposing his son with Marilia Mendonça

Singer Murilo Huff, 30, spoke about his son's exposure to singer Marilia Mendonça (1995-2021) on social media and how he deals with the repercussions of his personal life on the internet.

To CNN Brasil, the countryman said: "I end up posting one thing or another, but I try to avoid it as much as possible. He's just a child. I understand - and I think he does too - that his mother is missed by millions of people, but we can never place the responsibility of making up for her lack on him."

Huff defended that he likes to let his fans know about Leo's growth - as many are rooting for his happiness -, but he is cautious when exposing the little one on his social networks. Because your profession is public, the reach of publications is immense.

In a video with great repercussion on the internet, the little one appears playing a song by Marília on the drums.

About rooting for his son's possible musical career, he declared: "I'll support him regardless of any decision. He's a child, he's at the stage of discovering things. Leo started in drums class, because he's always been around that environment here at home, he's always seen me playing guitar and piano and playing at the rehearsals he goes with me."

According to the singer, he is now learning karate, has already taken football classes and has a predisposition to learn new sports quickly.

"It's important to encourage, regardless of whether it's music. I encouraged him in all these activities. He's excited about karate and really likes football. It's difficult to say if he'll lean towards music, but if it's his choice, he'll have my support," he told CNN Brasil.

Despite appearing more on social media, Huff says he still considers himself a very private person, mainly due to the negative comments and opinions about his intimate life.

"Whoever appears is being judged all the time. People often forget that, behind a public person, there is a human being too and that, although our work is public, our personal life is not. They think they have the right to give their opinion and say what we should or shouldn't do in our personal lives", he said.

Huff said that he doesn't mind comments about his work and that he respects them, but that there are limits to what people can say on the internet so as not to offend those who read it.

"We need to show people that they like us; we can't just focus on the bad people there. There are many good people who like to follow us, so we have to focus on them. I'm trying to connect more with them", he said.
