The central region of São Paulo will once again be the heart of Virada Cultural on the 23rd and 24th of May.

Renamed in this 21st edition as "The Festival of Festivals", the marathon of 24 consecutive hours of free art will concentrate five of its main themed stages in the Historic Center and the Republic, bringing from the international pop of Manu Chao to the romanticism of Joelma and Sidney Magal, in addition to a public transport infrastructure operating in the early hours of the morning.

On Saturday (23), conductor João Carlos Martins opens the performances, followed by the traditional samba school Mocidade Alegre and singers Péricles and Luísa Sonza. Early morning and Sunday (24) are led by French-Spanish singer Manu Chao, the Brazilian Orchestra of Jamaican Music and artists Marina Sena, Seu Jorge and Alexandre Pires.

Vale do Anhangabaú will once again be the main multicultural hub of the event, hosting the biggest names in pop, samba and MPB.

Themed stages share rhythms throughout the Center

- Praça Ramos de Azevedo (Jazz 24h): Next to the Municipal Theater, the venue will be filled with continuous instrumental and vocal performances, including instrumentalist Bocato Quinteto and a tribute to Erykah Badu by Joy Sales.

- Avenida São João (Romantic and Brega Music): Dedicated to popular rhythms, the stage hosts shows by Sidney Magal, Odair José, Gaby Amarantos, Johnny Hooker and the closing with the Pará singer Joelma.
- Largo do Arouche (Diverse and LGBTQIA+ Line-up): Space focused on female protagonism and diversity, with shows by Catto, Urias, Tulipa Ruiz, Céu (on a special 20-year career tour), as well as national rap names such as Ebony and MC Luanna.
- Praça da Sé (Forró 24h): Dedicated to northeastern roots music, it will feature traditional names such as Enok Virgulino and Diana do Sertão.

- Viaduto Santa Ifigênia (Samba 24h): São Paulo's postcard will host traditional samba groups throughout the weekend, such as Grupo Bom Gosto and Samba da Vela.
