The band sued by a tissue company was Kleenex. Formed in Switzerland in the late 1970s, the female punk group adopted the name Kleenex without imagining that they would end up facing legal problems with the multinational owner of the famous scarf brand. The company claimed trademark infringement and demanded that the band change its name.
