Actress Daveigh Chase died this Tuesday (16) at the age of 35. She became known for playing the character Samara, in the film "The Ring", in 2002.

The death announcement was made by the actress's boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, 24, to TMZ. The young man revealed that the actress was treating a case of meningitis and several serious blood infections. Recent health problems have resulted in sepsis, which has led to his organ failure.
