The Composer Graham Nash Knew Wouldn't Be Remembered in 100 Years!

Graham Nash of Crosby, Stills & Nash had enormous admiration for Leonard Cohen, but believed he would not be remembered as Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Paul McCartney or Joni Mitchell in a century. "I'm not sure I'd put Leonard in there," Nash said of Cohen's legacy. For him, Cohen's poetic depth needed more melody to mark pop culture. Still, Cohen influenced generations with "Hallelujah" and other gems. Nash valued their friendship and talent, but saw the Beatles and Joni as immortal.
