The 1991 Album George Harrison Wanted to Reunite the Traveling Wilburys!
After Roy Orbison's death, George Harrison used *Traveling Wilburys Vol. 3* (1990/1991) to keep the supergroup's friendship alive. "My goal was to preserve our friendship," he revealed.
The album brought together Harrison, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty in a relaxed atmosphere, even without Orbison. Harrison struggled to keep the spirit light and the band together.
While it doesn't have the same impact as Vol. 1, the album celebrates the camaraderie between legends. A beautiful tribute to friendship in music!
