Taylor Swift announces new song for 'Toy Story 5'

Singer Taylor Swift announced this Monday (1st) a partnership with Disney Pixar for the release of "I Knew It, I Knew You", a new song that will be part of the soundtrack for the film "Toy Story 5".

In recent weeks, the Pixar's official Instagram account released a series of images of billboards with the acronym TS across cities in the United States.

In a post on her official account, the singer spoke about her relationship with the film and gave more details about her creative process for the song.
"I've always dreamed of composing for these characters that I love since I was a 5-year-old child, watching the first 'Toy Story'. I fell in love the first time I was lucky enough to watch 'Toy Story 5' and I composed this song as soon as I got home after the screening", she said.
In the wake of the beloved franchise, Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang need to fight for the attention of children, who are increasingly immersed in tablets and smartphones, leaving traditional toys at the bottom of the trunk. The story will have a new "villain": a tablet called Lilypad.
The film opens in Brazilian cinemas on June 18, 2026.
