Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding celebrations begin in New York, agency says

The first act of pop star Taylor Swift's wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce began last Thursday (2), with a dinner for 100 guests, before a celebrity-filled event at Madison Square Garden, in New York.
The singer and the three-time Super Bowl champion, both 36, left fans in suspense, but the press announced a grand celebration, at height of one of the most famous couples in the world.
AFP observed the arrival of several cars with supposed guests at a private tent set up outside the Garden. Fans approached the place, trying to see what was happening.
The wedding itself will take place this Friday (3), in the presence of around a thousand guests, including models Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne, singer Selena Gomez and actress Zoë Kravitz, all of whom are close friends of Taylor.
Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs teammates are also expected to attend.
The guests reportedly signed confidentiality agreements and will not be able to use their cell phones during the ceremony, which is expected to begin with a cocktail party in the afternoon, followed by a reception that will last into the evening.
The celebration comes as New York and its police find themselves overwhelmed by Fourth of July celebrations and a World Cup match, all in the midst of a heat wave intense.
Several rumors about the ceremony have emerged in recent weeks, without any official confirmation. But clues multiplied around Madison Square Garden.
Police and National Guard troops reinforced their presence in the region, where several streets were closed. The couple, who got engaged last August, would already be in New York.
Taylor's car was seen in the city and Kelce was photographed while running in Manhattan.
The couple announced that they would donate US$26 million (R$135.81 million) to charities in the country, including animal rescue groups and organizations in Nashville and Kansas City.
