Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce: see everything that is known about their marriage

Since they announced their engagement in mid-August last year, the union of Taylor Swift, 36, and Travis Kelce, 36, has become one of the most talked about topics in the pop universe.

Although concrete information about the ceremony has not yet been released by the couple, several details were being leaked and shared by sources close to the duo. According to the North American portal TMZ, Kelce's only certainty is that the party will have exorbitant amounts of beer.

How was the engagement?
In the last week of August 2025, the singer made a publication on her official Instagram profile with a gallery of photos from the engagement. "Your English teacher and your gym instructor are getting married," she wrote in the caption.

Completing the floral and romantic aesthetic of the location chosen by the couple, Taylor added the song "So High School", in which she reflects on their relationship.

Wedding details
At the end of May, TMZ had already announced that the ceremony should take place at a location in New York, USA. A few days later, the portal team revealed that the iconic Madison Square Garden was chosen.

With an internal space away from open windows, the party would take place discreetly in the concert hall. The event would be scheduled for the first Friday in July, on July 3rd.

Rumors that Swift would get married in Manhattan gained strength after Jessica Tisch, commissioner of the New York Police Department, stated that a large security scheme would be set up for the singer's wedding in July. Although he joked about the situation, many fans took the statements seriously.

Exclusive guest list
Also according to TMZ, Swift and Kelce would be asking guests to remain confidential regarding information about the ceremony. Everyone on the list, which includes celebrities and anonymous people, would be receiving information about the event only via text messages or calls.

Also according to the portal's sources, Taylor would have invited an old friend already known to the public: the model Karlie Kloss. Although they broke off their friendship more than 7 years ago, the fight would have "been left in the past" and, therefore, the ex-best friend would be on the official list.

A few months after the announcement, a new insider, a friend of the American singer, predicted that her wedding dress could be inspired by Elizabeth Taylor's.

As Swift had to research several of the Brit's references for the "Elizabeth Taylor" video, the actress would have become one of the artist's muses for the union.

"Taylor spent so much time looking at old photos while making the music video for that song that she ended up falling in love with the movie queen's style. Taylor said she liked how classic it was, fitted at the waist and with lace details," said the person.

To date, Taylor has not shared any public references or commented in interviews about what the special costume will be like.
