The marriage between Taylor Swift and American football player Travis Kelce is one of the most talked about topics in pop culture this week. According to American media outlets, they are due to get married this Friday (3), in New York.
The two have been together for almost three years and got engaged in August 2025. Remember the timeline of Taylor and Travis' relationship:

July 2023: Travis says he tried to give Taylor a number
In mid-2023, Travis went to a Taylor Swift concert during the "Eras Tour". On the "New Heights" podcast, he revealed that he tried to give the singer his phone number, but couldn't find her at the time.
"I was disappointed that she didn't talk before or after the shows, since she needs to save her voice for the 44 songs she sings. So, I was kind of upset that I couldn't give her one of the bracelets I made. But I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number."
September/October 2023: Taylor and Travis are seen together
In September and October 2023, they began to be seen together on a few occasions. Taylor also appeared to support Travis' team, the Chiefs, at a game.
"When I went to that first game, we were already a couple," Swift told Time magazine months later.
January 2024: Taylor and Travis celebrate victory

In January 2024, the singer appeared at a Chiefs game, not only in the stands, but on the field itself to celebrate the victory with the boyfriend. The photos of the two exchanging affection and kisses made news around the world.
June 2024: Travis participates in Taylor's concert
The romance became a topic even on stage. At an Eras Tour show, Travis made a surprise appearance, dancing and even carrying the singer.
August 2025: Taylor and Travis announce their engagement
