Tarcísio preaches peace between Flávio and Michelle: "They will reach understanding"
The governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), commented this Friday (26) on the recent crisis in Bolsonaroism between senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) and former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro (PL).
When asked about an understanding between the two and the possibility of Michelle as vice-president on Flávio's ticket, Tarcísio bet on reconciliation soon and reinforced the need for unity on the right.
"I think this issue between Michelle and him is a family issue. And it is an issue that we are sure that, in the future and in a short time, they will reach an understanding, they will be able to move forward. The group has to be united, because the confrontation will be difficult. We will have to confront projects and divisions for the future, and the more united, if we are, the better it will be", declared the governor during an interview on ABC Paulista.
This Wednesday (24), Michelle posted a video in which she complained about the treatment received by her stepson, mainly after a disagreement over the PL (Liberal Party) platform in Ceará. Flávio responded to the publication with the defense of a "union of forces" and apologized to his stepmother.
After the repercussion and the senator's video, the former first lady made a new statement on Thursday (25), denying "any fight" and that she would not be angry with anyone.
"There is no fight, no competition. I just ask that you do not take parts of my speech out of context to create confusion. A new story will be written with truth, clarity and respect", said Michelle in the publication.

Also during the conversation with the press, Tarcísio was asked about the possibility of a partnership with Missão and PSDB (Brazilian Social Democracy Party) in the election after the withdrawal of pre-candidates for the state government Kim Kataguiri (Missão) and Paulo Serra (PSDB).
On the Mission side, the governor sees a greater effort in the pre-candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic by the party with Renan Santos. On the Tucano side, the head of the São Paulo Executive is betting on partnership, like the one that occurred in the second round in 2022, and admitted that conversations in this regard were taking place.
"The PSDB has a history and then we already have a conversation with the PSDB, and I am very interested in having the PSDB on our platform together with Cidadania, even the federation. I think it adds a lot, adds value and we will seek this support, obviously. And then, try, as much as possible, to build consensus, build a solid foundation", he said.
The governor also analyzed the division of Flávio Bolsonaro's support for Republican candidates in other states. In Tarcísio's view, with some strong names from his party in certain regions, it would be important for both parties to give in on each part.
"We have, for example, some good candidates in some states for state government. This is important for the party, it is important for the Republicans, and we understand that, within a partnership logic, the PL has to give way here or there so that we can carry out this great construction, right? And solidify this partnership, which I am sure will happen", he concluded.
