Sydney Sweeney causes controversy in scene from new episode of "Euphoria"

Actress Sydney Sweeney, 28, was involved in new controversy after an explicit scene in the last episode of the series "Euphoria". The star, who plays the character Cassie Howards, has previously been criticized for "spicy" scenes in the series, which has relied on a more sexualized script than previous seasons.

Part of the public has accused the production of exaggerating the scenes involving Cassie, exposing Sweeney in intimate moments, considered humiliating. "I'm tired of these excesses with Cassie", wrote one user on X. "This Cassie arc no longer makes any sense", commented another.

In the seventh and penultimate episode, shown on Sunday (24), the character tries to regain her fame after deleting her account on the OnlyFans platform. To do this, she hatches a plan to get sexually involved with another character and, in a sex scene, Sydney appears topless.
