Switzerland defeated Bosnia - Herzegovina 4-1 on Thursday afternoon (18), at the SoFi Stadium, in Los Angeles, in the second round of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.

The match, valid for Group B, was led by Portuguese referee João Pedro da Silva Pinheiro and marked the consolidation of the team led by Murat Yakin at the top of the group.

The first goal came in the 28th minute of the second half, with the newly introduced Johan Manzambi opening the scoring after Rubén Vargas lifted the ball into the area and Amar Memic cleared it badly, leaving the striker to finish with his right foot and into the back of the net.
