Suspects arrested for sending bombs to Ceará president's daughter

Three men identified by the Ceará Civil Police as those responsible for sending an explosive to the theater school of the daughter of the president of Ceará SC, João Paulo Silva, were arrested this Wednesday (1st).

The accused are members of the Cearamor fan group and are serving preventive detention for attempting to kill the teenager and other people present at the school, located in the Joaquim Távora neighborhood, in Fortaleza.

The corporation states that, according to investigations, there is a criminal group made up of members of the organization, who acted in a coordinated manner and divided tasks, since two motorcycles with covered license plates were used.

The agents reported that they seized the group's cell phones, gaining access to the devices' complete data, but they are still carrying out investigations, aiming to find the financiers and organizers of the incident.

The agency also reported that, in an attempt to arrest one of the men at his residence, DRACO (Department for the Repression of Organized Criminal Actions) arrested a fourth individual who possessed 3kg of marijuana and 1kg of cocaine in tablets, as well as objects used in drug trafficking and clothing belonging to the Cearamor fans.

Remember the case
A box of chocolates was sent to a theater school, destined for the daughter of the president of Ceará Sporting Club, on the afternoon of last Thursday 25th). According to the executive, the bomb was delivered through a "gift" left at one of his daughters' theater school.

The explosive was accompanied by flowers and a message saying "Fora JP" and "Safado". On social media, João Paulo informed that this is just another episode of crimes committed against his family.

In a statement, Ceará Sporting Club said it repudiates the acts against the president. "This is not the first time that the president and his family have been targets of actions of this nature. These events reveal what is most reprehensible in our society and use football as a pretext for committing crimes such as threats, insults, persecution, exposure to danger and undue exposure of private life."

Also according to the club, an investigation was opened by the Police Station for the Repression of Organized Criminal Actions (Draco) to investigate the facts and take action.
