Suspect says he dismembered man who attacked his wife in the interior of SP

A 20-year-old man was arrested this Sunday (24), after stabbing and dismembering another man, aged 33, in the Jardim Figueira neighborhood, in Amparo (SP).

According to the SSP-SP (Public Security Secretariat), agents were called to respond to the incident in the region. Upon arriving at the scene, the suspect confessed to having killed the victim two days earlier, on Friday night (22), after hearing his wife's cries for help and finding a man allegedly attacking her.

After the death, the suspect confirmed that he dismembered the body. In total, two knives were seized from his residence as a possible murder weapon.

Also according to the agency, tests were requested from the Criminalistics Institute. The case was registered as homicide and destruction, theft or concealment of a corpse at the Serra Negra Police Station.
