'Supernatural' actor found dead and police investigate homicide in Canada

Actor Stewart McLean, known for acting in series such as 'Supernatural' and 'Arrow', was found dead in the Canadian province of British Columbia after being missing for a week. According to information gathered by People magazine, Canadian authorities are officially treating the case as a homicide. He had turned 45 in April.
McLean's remains were identified last Friday (22), in the Lions Bay region. The magazine reported that the Canadian Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) confirmed the location of the body just one day after announcing that the disappearance indicated evidence of foul play. Stewart McLean was last seen at his residence on May 15th. A report about her disappearance was registered by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police on the following Monday, May 18.
IHIT has taken responsibility for the investigation and is working on collecting evidence. According to the corporation, detectives analyze images from security cameras and conduct interviews to reconstruct the actor's steps before his disappearance. In a statement, IHIT spokeswoman Esther Tupper said the team is seeking answers for the victim's family and friends.
