Summoned by Ancelotti, Éderson is close to reinforcing the European giant

Called up this Sunday (7) for the Brazilian team, midfielder Éderson is close to changing clubs in European football. Atalanta, from Italy, has advanced negotiations to sell the Brazilian to Manchester United, from England.

At 26 years old, Éderson has played for Atalanta for four seasons and is one of the highlights of the team that won the Europa League in 2023/24.

Éderson close to United

Former Cruzeiro player, midfielder Éderson is very close to being a reinforcement for Manchester United, according to several newspapers in England and Italy. The negotiation should vary between 45 and 50 million euros (R$ 263 and R$ 292 million).

United's interest in Éderson is long-standing. Negotiations have progressed halfway through and the midfielder is expected to arrive at the club as Casemiro's replacement.

Ederson's career
Before arriving in European football, Éderson played for Corinthians and Fortaleza, respectively. All this after leaving Cruzeiro, where he arrived in 2018 after playing for Desportivo Brasil, the club where he started his career.

The Brazilian midfielder has been in Italian football for five seasons, the last four at Atalanta, where he is an absolute starter and was champion of the Europa League in 2024.
