Summary of "Quem Ama Cuida": from June 29th to July 4th

In "Quem Ama Cuida", Adriana will continue to face danger in prison due to the tensions involving Arthur's inheritance. Throughout the week, Pilar plans an attack on the protagonist and, with Nívea's help, recruits Zeni, who attacks the physiotherapist in jail and steals her bracelet.

Despite the scare, the physiotherapist survives the attack and decides not to reveal the attacker's identity for fear of retaliation. However, inmate Jandira discovers what happened and transfers Zeni to the prison, causing Adriana to be applauded by the other inmates.

Ademir is asked to explain suspicious deposits to Tom and tries to get away by inventing a service contract, while Pedro clashes with his father and Ademir, promising to prevent them from getting Arthur's inheritance.

Otoniel experiences intriguing moments when he sees Francesca's spirit watching him in the cemetery, but he is unable to reach her. Ulisses, in debt, turns to a loan shark, ends up kidnapped by thugs and lies to Carolina, saying he was just robbed.

Overwhelmed with resentment after being threatened and remembering the injustices she suffered, Adriana makes a radical decision: she removes Pedro from her life and swears relentless revenge against each of the people responsible for his unjust imprisonment.

Monday (29th)
Adriana thanks Nancy for defending her. Nancy tells Adriana the reason she was arrested. André tells his uncle that he returned to Brazil to work with him. Pedro tells Elisa that Ademir bribed Tom. Otoniel talks to Francesca about Adriana's situation. Otoniel invites Francesca to have lunch with his family. Ademir receives a subpoena to explain the deposits made into Tom's account, and refuses to explain to Pedro. Dora looks for Tiago to give him a piece of jewelry as a prize for the competition he plans to promote at his dance school. Silvana tells Tiago that she consulted a lawyer who assured him that he does not need to take the DNA test. Pilar thinks about trying to kill Adriana.

Tuesday (30)
Nívea gives Zeni a mission against Adriana. Nancy warns Adriana to be careful with Zeni. Silvana makes it clear to Ademir that no one will touch her son's inheritance. Ulisses tells Pilar that his company needs money. Otoniel fights with Tom when he learns that he accepted Ademir's bribe to testify against his granddaughter. Nancy tells Adriana that her colleagues at the prison are delighted with the physiotherapist's work. Tom forbids Elenice from visiting Adriana. Pedro denies Bruna a second chance, stating that he loves Adriana. Carolina notices Ulysses' tension. Francesca and Otoniel almost kiss. Ulysses borrows money from a loan shark. Zeni attacks Adriana and steals her bracelet.

Wednesday (1st)
Zeni runs away without anyone seeing her. Adriana is taken to the outpatient clinic. Otoniel is scared in front of Francesca's tomb. Nancy and Lyris bet that it was Zeni who attacked Adriana. Bruna assures Gilda that she will win Pedro back. André tells Pedro that Adriana suffered an attack in prison. Brigitte tells Edvaldo that she doesn't think Adriana is to blame for Arthur's death either. Pilar gets angry with Rosa because the employee is not available to provide information about Adriana's family. Nancy threatens Zeni. Pilar asks Ademir to place her as Arthur's inventor in Tiago's place. The doctor warns that Adriana is no longer at risk. Dora is surprised to see André at the dance school. Pedro asks Adriana who attacked her.

Thursday (2)
Adriana refuses to reveal who hurt her, for fear of suffering retaliation. Maurício tells Elenice that he is never invited to events with his school friends. Pedro is hostile towards Ingrid. Carolina and André kiss. Adriana tells Nancy and Lyris that it was Zeni who attacked her. Ademir invents that he hired Tom's services to get rid of the bribery accusation. Jandira decides to transfer Zeni from prison. Francesca watches Otoniel placing flowers on her tomb. Adriana is surprised by the applause she receives from the inmates, for having managed to get Zeni transferred from the prison.

Friday (3)
Adriana puts her bracelet back on her arm. Otoniel runs after Francesca and can't catch her. Pedro tells Ademir that he will do everything so that Arthur's inheritance does not go to the jeweler's family or his father. Adriana tells Nancy that she is determined to go after every person who convicted her of a crime she didn't commit. Nicolau seeks Cléber's services as a lawyer to help Lyris. Dora tries to hide her reaction when she sees Carolina kissing André. Pedro feels helpless for not getting Adriana's freedom. Ulysses is kidnapped by the loan shark's henchmen. Adriana remembers the threat they made to her, and tells Pedro that she doesn't want to see him anymore.

Saturday (4)
Adriana swears revenge against the people who put her in jail. Pilar insinuates to Fábia that Ulisses may be cheating on his wife. Ulisses tells Carolina that he was robbed and attacked by bandits. Pilar admits to Ademir that she paid someone to attack Adriana, but denies that she pushed Arthur. Lyris tells Adriana that she will be able to leave prison soon. André and Dora kiss during the rehearsal. Otoniel tells Adriana that Elisa was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Carolina and André win the dance competition.
