A law student reported having been attacked along with his cousins by fans after the game between Fluminense and Bolívar, at Maracanã, with punches and kicks by members of the "Young Flu" organized fans at Praça Varnhagem, in the Tijuca neighborhood, on Thursday night (21).

According to a report from the victim, Guilherme Mayr Brust, who spoke to CNN Brasil, the family distanced themselves from the surroundings of the stadium to escape the congestion and walked to Praça Varnhagem to request a vehicle.

Three of the suspects disembarked from a white vehicle and immediately began threatening the family. "The car passed threatening us: "We're going to kill you", reported Guilherme. Soon after, the men got out of the vehicle and began physical attacks without any justification, according to him.

Guilherme reported in the police report that the attackers did not use weapons, but used extreme violence, punching, slapping and kicking him and his cousins.

"It was cowardly, they hit me a lot, my eye is very swollen", says Guilherme, who suffered a deep cut in his mouth, bruises on his eye and abrasions on his body, causing him to bleed profusely.
