Wesley's identification with Corinthians became evident again on social media. The attacker shared an image of the entrance to Parque São Jorge on his Instagram profile and accompanied it with the message: "My home forever". The publication quickly caught the attention of fans and reinforced the player's emotional bond with the club that formed him.
Created from the black and white youth teams, Wesley began his career at Corinthians while still in the Under-13s. Since then, he has advanced through all stages of the Terrão until reaching the main team, for which he debuted in 2023.

Wearing the Timão shirt, the striker participated in 85 official matches and scored seven goals. Although he didn't win titles in the professional squad, he won an important trophy at the base: the Campeonato Paulista U17. In the decision against Palmeiras, he decided to score goals before Corinthians triumph on penalties.
In August 2024, Corinthians agreed to sell the player to Al-Nassr, from Saudi Arabia. As reported by Meu Timão at the time, the negotiation was worth around 20 million dollars - around R$ 110 million at the price of that period - with the possibility of another 5 million dollars in bonuses conditioned on the achievement of targets set out in the agreement.
In the first months of 2026, Wesley was loaned to Real Sociedad, remaining in Spanish football until the end of the European season in May. Despite the opportunity, the Spanish team decided not to activate the purchase option stipulated in the contract. This way, the striker will return to Al-Nassr, a club with which he has a valid commitment until mid-2028.
His time at Real Sociedad was discreet in terms of minutes. According to data from Ogol, Wesley entered the field on just five occasions, totaling 84 minutes played, with no direct participation in goals or assists.
Even with little space, the Brazilian celebrated an unprecedented achievement in his professional career. A member of the Spanish King's Cup winning squad, he saw Real Sociedad overcome Atlético de Madrid in the penalty shootout and secured the first title of his professional career.
The desire to return to Corinthians at some point in the future, in fact, did not appear now. Even before his experience in Spanish football, Wesley had already publicly declared his desire to return to defend his favorite club.
In November 2025, the striker was at the Neo Química Arena accompanied by João Cancelo, João Félix and Renan Lodi to watch the 2-2 draw between Corinthians and Botafogo. On the occasion, he received a black and white shirt from the club, in yet another gesture that symbolized the strong bond built with Timão over the years.
