Corinthians will have a reduction in its female squad for the remainder of the season. Striker Manu Olivan, trained in the club's youth categories, will leave Parque São Jorge to pursue an academic and sporting project in the United States. The 20-year-old player was announced by Miami Dade College, an American university team, through social media.

According to information initially released by Meu Timão, the athlete requested contract termination with Corinthians, who accepted the request by mutual agreement. As a result, the relationship between the parties will be terminated without financial compensation to the club.

In a note sent to Meu Timão, Corinthians explained that the attacker's departure is so that she can participate in a student exchange.

"Manu Olivan had his contract terminated by mutual agreement to join Miami Dade College, in the United States, for academic and student exchange purposes, without playing professional football."

According to the publication, Manu is expected to travel to the United States at the end of July, after completing the necessary bureaucratic procedures for the move.

The striker joined the Brabas main squad in 2022, when she was just 16 years old. Since then, he has played ten matches for the professional team, being a starter on two occasions: against Marília, in the 2024 Campeonato Paulista Feminino, and against Realidade Jovem, in the 2025 edition of the state competition.

In the current season, Manu took to the field three times for the main team. She participated in the victories over América, 8 x 0, in the Teal Rising Cup, and against Red Bull Bragantino, 6 x 0, in the Campeonato Paulista. The striker was also on the field in the 2-1 defeat to São Paulo, in the same competition.

Despite the reduced space among professionals, the player had been playing frequently for the U20 team. In 2026, he played four matches for the Brazilian Championship in the category and one for Paulista U20. His last performance with the white shirt came in the 3 x 1 defeat to Ferroviária, last Wednesday (1st).

With the departure of Manu Olivan, Corinthians continues to prepare for the sequence of the calendar after the break for the World Cup. Brabas' next official match is scheduled for July 17th, against Ferroviária, in the fourth round of the Campeonato Paulista Feminino.
